【摘要】:Thepurposeofthispracticeistosimulatetheagingprocessofcellulosicloose-fillinsulation.Byidentifyinganychangesinflameretardantpermanencyduetotheagingprocess,producerscandesignloose-fillinsulationtomeetorexceedmaterialspecificationsthroughouttheproductlifecycle.1.1Thispracticecoversaproceduretosimulatetheagingprocessofcellulosicloose-fillinsulationbysubjectingittocontrolledlaboratoryconditionsoftemperatureandhumiditysothattheinsulationwillbefurtherevaluated,particularlyforcriticalradiantfluxcharacteristics.1.2Itisnottheintentofthispracticetoestablishagingconditionsthatrepresentallpossibleexposures.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
